Compared to neuro-typical kids, children with disabilities work much harder for milestones. And when they stop working, they regress – potentially losing gains that have taken years to accrue.
We know mobility fosters independence, and we want to keep giving Euro-Peds Intensive Therapies treatment and travel grants to those limited by lack of insurance or prohibitively high, out-of-pocket costs.
